So, when is the best time of year to visit Costa Rica?  I would definitely say the best time of year to visit Costa Rica is between December and May. Why? Because the rainy season has finished pretty much. The one draw back is that that is considered “high season” and with high season comes high season prices. However, don’t be surprised if you can still find airline deals.  I know one friend of mine was able to buy a round trip ticket to Costa Rica and back to New York for $250 during December on Expedia.com.
